Sorry about everything, Lotanna. I'm glad you're starting to feel better again.
I want to suggest a few things for the knee: maybe 20k steps everyday all of a sudden has caused a bit of wear and tear. When I used to walk 10k steps daily, one of my knees did the same thing, but I found that stretching after walking helped me a lot. The knee wasn't stiff and painful the next morning. Perhaps you could incorporate that this time around.
I would just grind out my walks day after day after day.
Now that I'm trying to build back up, I've decided to do 15 minute walks in my 6 exercise slots for each day as my minimum which should give me about 9000 to maybe 10,000 steps a day, which wasn't a problem for me in the past.
I'm going to try to do the stretching after every workout.
I see someone already mentioned easing into the walks. I suddenly started intensive spin classes without easing into them and developed ‘Runner’s knee.’ I didn't even know it was a thing. I only noticed it when climbing stairs started hurting.
Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better now. If it's any consolation, there's nothing wrong with a little breakdown. Still cheering you on!

You're right I didn't do any stretching at all.
I would just grind out my walks day after day after day.

Thank you!
